Music Video Production Melbourne is a service offered by Creative Clones. We love putting beautiful, striking images to great tunes. We also understand that the video is there to compliment the music, not take away from it, that’s why we like to work closely with the band/artist to achieve the best result.
Finally, another music video that isn’t directed by Greg! Pernell Marsden did a great job putting this beautiful piece together with the help of Ruby Smith’s dreamy number ‘PDFC’. Filmed in the Spring Hill Reservoirs, this clip takes you on a visual spectacular of purples, candles and glitter.
We were so excited about Born Joy Dead’s new single ‘Sourdough’ we asked them if we could make a music video for it (a little different to how we usually work). They said “yes!” and we said “yay!”. The rest is music video history …
Sunshine Coast Singer/songwriter Jonathan Hayden needed a music video for his new single Fields of Plenty. A song about world poverty vs the great wealth we have in Australia, Jon wanted a simple clip that represented how lucky we are to live in this beautiful country.
A trifecta of music videos – this was our third music clip with Darren and Greg from Queensland rock band Crashing Tomorrow. Starring Donnie Baxter as our lead, Crashing Tomorrow tell the story of a man trapped by his vices, and how addiction will always lead back to one thing – regret.
Craig from hip hop trio Datz Rad hit us up for a clip to their new track ‘Who’s Dat’. Craig already had a concept in mind, so we molded his idea of having the group starting in the bushy, rural area of Samford, rapping their way to the city and ending up on the flashy light stage of the Zoo. A great contrast of where they began, and where they are presently as artists.
Jase, Toby, Tommy, Simon & Chris got in touch with us through our website looking for a clip for their new single ‘When I’m With You’. With no concept in mind, we got to work listening to their track & brainstorming ideas. What stood out from the single was its 90’s sound, especially that of the Friends TV intro. So what did we do? We went ’90s!
This is our second music video with Greg and Darren from Queensland rock band Crashing Tomorrow. Working from their concept we crafted their message about the distractions of electronic portable devices; “Do we spend too much of our precious time on social media and smart phones ? Programmers collect our information, and use it to constantly infiltrate every aspect of our lives.”
Tu P (Tu Pham) got in touch with us about a clip for his new track ‘Respect my Hustle’. A change from his usual political raps – Tu wanted an upbeat & fun video, that also reflected his progress from boy to man, and his dreams of holding up two contrasting careers.
Darren and Greg from Crashing Tomorrow sent us a message through our website wanting to do a music clip to their new single ‘Secrets’. They wanted a concept that presented this; “Secrets – Being in a relationship in some ways, is like being a passenger on a motorcycle – you have to have complete faith and trust in the rider, regardless of their past.”
We had previously rocked out with The Iron Eye on a Between Show together, so when they asked us to produce a music clip for them, we couldn’t refuse. Filmed entirely in their rehearsal space, we capture the raw power they possess – both united & individually, giving the viewer an insight into how great these guys are live.
Having worked with Warwick & Tina (Out of Abindgon) before on live performance videos, it was time to set-it-up and do an official music video. Warwick & Tina approached us with a loose concept featuring a smoky jazz bar, tango dancers and them performing their new track ‘3 Piece Suit’. And that’s what they got!
We’ve done a fair bit of video work for Steve and Joe from Strings for Ammo, so it was only natural that we create a music video together. Working from Steve’s concept, we shot this clip over three days. From a lonely bedroom in Wooloongabba, to the breathtaking beauty of Stradbroke Island, this music video captures Steve’s journey from hopelessness to a place of solace.
arundel (Lucas Arundell) already had a concept for the music video to his new single ‘Chimpanzee’. Working closely with Lucas, we produced this clip to his artistic vision, while working on a limited budget. The conclusion – a fun performance/narrative piece that flows to the song’s story while keeping with it’s values.
The Abbey Skyway (Paul Harvey) needed some visuals for his beautiful song ‘Thistles’. Shot over one day in the picturesque Clear Mountains, Queensland, and starring the talented Kyla Nichole Nelson, we captured the melancholic, yet hopeful look of the song’s themes.
