While we were doing some promo videos for JMI- Jazz Music Institute, we filmed & recorded this performance from Lachlan McKenzie. We thought we’d steal it for a Between Show because it was so damn good. So here’s Lachlan McKenzie with ‘Slug’s Saloon’.
Our second show on our return to Dowse Bar is from Cassidy Mackie. She puts the piano to good use with her song ‘Home’.
We do a lot of solo artists on the Between Shows – so it’s great when we get a band in. Here’s Soldiers of the Sun performing their song ‘Follow With Me’, live from our old friend Dowse Bar in Paddington.
Welcome to 2014. Our first show for the new year has Sasta performing ‘The O’Hagan Set’. Filmed and recorded live down in the Whiskey Bar at Mick O’Malley’s in Brisbane City.
We had planned to do only one song with Hannah Rosa for her Between show. But when she turned up at The Bearded Lady, she soon noticed their piano, and it was decided right then and there, that one song wouldn’t be enough. Having shared her double show a few weeks ago, we thought this song deserved to have it’s own clip …so here is ‘When the Lights Go Out’.
Out of Abingdon perform their mash-up ‘Lenny’s Birthday’ (a combination of Stevie Ray Vaughan’s ‘Lenny’ and the Sugarcube’s ‘Birthday’). Filmed and recorded live at Room 60 in Kelvin Grove’s Urban Village.
